About Us
The Victoria’s Grant Community
Victoria’s Grant is a premiere, wooded community just off Chancellor’s Run Road, less than a mile from Highway 235. From our two entrances off of Buck Hewitt Road, Victoria’s Grant is less than 2 miles to the Main Gate of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station (NAS Pax).
Victoria’s Grant is also less than one mile from Chancellor’s Run Regional Park which has ball diamonds, soccer fields, playground, party pavilion, and meeting rooms. In addition, Victoria’s Grant is centrally located to shopping areas in both Lexington Park and California, MD.
Victoria’s Grant has paved public streets, sidewalks, community mailboxes, and public water and sewer. While there are two community-owned areas, they are forested and no community amenities (such as pool, park, or clubhouse) exist. Most of our residents are families with children, and many households have at least one member employed at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD, or with a government contractor in support of the Navy. The public schools for this area are Greenview Knolls Elementary (less than a mile away), Esperanza Middle School, and Great Mills High School. The private schools for this area are Kings Christian School, St. Mary’s Ryken, Little Flower School, and Leonardtown Military Academy.
Victoria’s Grant contains 109 homes built by Quality Built Homes from approximately 1996 to 2001. Many of the homes in Phases 1 and 2 are 2-story colonials, featuring front porches, garages, and most have basements. The community also has several split level homes, and an occasional ranch home. Phase 3 is a nice mix of colonial, Victorian, and split level homes. Lots range in size from about one quarter to two thirds of an acre, with most about one third of an acre. Victoria’s Grant is an ideal community, and great place to call home!
